In March 2006, we lost ALL of our PCT (and Pacific Coast Cycle Tour) journal entries, because of a a massive HDD failure at the hosting company (Diary-X). Read more about it HERE.
We linked all of our journal entries to the following message: "If you have EVER read our PCT (or Pacific Coast Cycle Tour) journals in the past (especially RECENT PAST) you MAY have copies of the relevant pages in your Temporary Internet Folder!! You may have printed them or otherwise saved an entry or two (or more?!!) to your hard drive? Please have a look and then ...
WE NEED YOUR HELP!!
A couple of months later, we were excited to find that a reader (Tom) had made local copies of nearly ALL of our Pacific Crest Trail journal entries. After revamping them (and backing them up), we reposted them in June. Yay! Only a couple of entries are still missing (and sadly, many of our Pacific Coast cycle trip journal entries).

We were stunned by both the loss and HELP from our readers, like YOU! We're still hoping that more entries will be found.
